BEGINNER

With our unique Rotor-Bike, we teach individuals who has never rode a motorcycle before, to ride a motorcycle within a day. The only requirement is that individuals should be able to ride a bicycle.

Here the requirements for Beginner Training;

  • Must an able bodied person;
  • Must be at least 16 years of age;
  • Must be able to ride a bicycle;
  • Have good eye to hand coordination;
  • Should understand English;
  • Should have already obtained a Motorcycle Learners License;

What does the training entail;

  • Beginner Training is conducted as one lesson over a period of a day;
  • Candidates to report at 08:15 to commence Training at 08:30;
  • Maximum of three Candidates per Beginner Training;
  • Motorcycles Supplied;
  • Helmets supplied;
  • Lunch is not supplied, please bring along some snacks, water will be supplied throughout the day;

What to wear;

  • Jeans or any long pant which will provide adequate Protection;
  • Close Shoes, Plakkies, Crocks, Sandals not allowed;
  • Rider gear recommended if already obtained;

Process;

  • Candidate to complete the required Registration forms and indemnities;
  • Deposit the required amount and forward proof of payment
  • Once Registration has been accomplished, the relevant Instructor will contact the candidate to confirm a date
  • Attendance register to be completed on the day of training;
  • Certificate of completion shall be issued after training;

The beginner training cover the basic fundamentals of riding a motorcycle, it does not guarantee the candidate’s full ability to ride fully proficient. Each candidate is required to put the training into practise by means of their own motorcycle. It is recommended that beginner trainees gain experience of at least 6 months of riding before attempting the K53 Motorcycle License Test.

Training Cost;
R 1 600,00 per person attending, including motorcycle use for the day.

In the event where a motorcycle is damaged by the trainee, all repair costs will be for the trainees account.

K53 LICENSE

Let us assist you in preparing for your K53 Motorcycle License. with our structured license preparation process, you can be assured to pass on your first attempt. Requirement, Learner license.

What does the K53 License Prep entail;

The K53 License Preparation Training is conducted over four lessons at our Rider Training Facility situated at Kishugu Training on the Uitkyk Road just outside Mbombela.

We aim to equip the rider to pass his/her motorcycle license on the first attempt. The training is conducted on our K53 Test Track, designed and laid out as per the Department of Transport’s specifications, in other words, exactly as you would find it at the testing station during your test.

Our Instructors are trained and accredited by the Department of Transport, therefore is well versed in the requirements of the test and able to train to the required standard.

Each Lesson is two hours long.

The requirements to attend our training as follows:

  • Must have a Valid Motorcycle Learners License;
  • Must be a proficient rider with riding experience;
  • Must have a roadworthy motorcycle / or rent a motorcycle from us;
  • Have your own helmet
  • Wear Protective Riding Gear during Lessons such as:
    • Riding Pants;
    • Riding Jacket;
    • Gloves;
    • Riding Boots;
  • Completed required registration documents for training;
  • Make full payment upfront;

lesson 1:
Pre-Trip Inspection-Around the Motorcycle, On Motorcycle, Mount, Dismount, Starting and Switching off Procedure, Speed Management

Lesson 2:
Recap of previous lesson, Turning Left, Lane Changing, Incline Start

Lesson 3:
Recap of Previous Lessons, Turning Speed Judgement, Emergency Stop, Emergency Swerve

Lesson 4:
Recap of all Previous Lessons, Mirrors Use, Clutch Use, Speed Control

We suggest the attendance of our training as close to your license test date as the contents of the training will be fresh without having to book additional lessons later on.

The roadworthy motorcycle you will use for the test, should be the motorcycle you come for training on. In other words, you need to supply your own motorcycle. In the event where you would want to rent a motorcycle, there will be an additional charge for during the training, as well as an extra charge for when doing the test.

Training Cost;
K53 Motorcycle Preparation Training

R 1 100,00 for four lessons
R 500,00 for motorcycle hire during Training
R 500,00 for use of motorcycle for test.

In the event where a motorcycle is damaged by the trainee, all repair costs will be for the trainees account.

BACK 2 BASICS

Our Back to Basics course is designed for the novice or experienced rider for the urge to refresh on the basics. Focus is placed on low speed riding techniques which translate into everyday riding.

Here the requirements for the Back 2 Basics Motorcycle Refresher Course;

  • Must an able bodied person;
  • Must be at least 16 years of age;
  • Must be a licensed motorcycle rider who has a moderate degree of riding experience;
  • Should understand English;
  • Back 2 Basics Training is conducted as one lesson over a period of a day;
  • Training Attendees to report at 08:15 to commence Training at 08:30;
  • Maximum of 10 Candidates per Back 2 Basics Training, minimum of 3;
  • Each Rider is to attend by using his/her own Licensed and Roadworthy Motorcycle;
  • Riding Gear to be worn at all times during training;
  • Meals, Coffee, Tea etc. not supplied. Attendees to provide their own;

What does the training entail;

  • Slow Riding Exercises Conducted;
  • The fundamentals of Motorcycle Riding are explained and executed in numerous riding exercises;
  • Emergency Manoeuvres explained and extensively exercised;

Back 2 Basics Motorcycle Training

R 950,00 per person attending
R 500,00 for motorcycle hire during Training
