Members of LMSI assisted by Transporting the “Cheerleaders” on the back of their motorcycles across the sport field to the stands where the rest of the school was located. The Cheerleaders on the motorcycles ensured for plenty of “gees” whilst the LMSI riders made some much needed noise.

LMSI believe to make a difference and create motorcycle safety awareness, what better way to start with the youth, our adults of tommorow by building sustainable relationships between entities. Thank you to the Management of Laerskool Laeveld for granting us the opportunity.

LMSi was created for Bikers, by Bikers.

The Safety Campaign focus to educate Motorists and Motorcyclists alike and to make all road users aware to Share the Road. Motorcycles are by nature not easy to spot due to their minimalistic profile, thus if road users are not specifically looking out for Motorcycles, chances are that that they will not be naturally seen which may result in a collision.

LMSi Vision:

To improve Road Safety in the Lowveld and to make all Road Users Aware of Motorcycle Safety through Awareness and Education.

LMSi Mission:

To Promote Motorcycle Safety and Public Awareness and to reduce Motorcycle Related Accidents through:

  • Media Campaign & Public Safety Announcements;
  • Develop Motorcycle education, training and awareness programmes;
  • Support legislation that directly affects motorcycle safety and awareness;
  • Support rider training programmes;
  • Engage with Local and Provincial Authorities on issues relating to road safety, with a focus on motorcycle safety, to assist where possible in improving road safety in Mpumalanga.
